Job Description Summary In this 12 months' internship assignment your focus will be providing support for our Dowty employees in the UK and globally on various HR processes in a truly international environment. We are a small team of 2 HR Leaders part of a larger GE HR community in the UK and our HR Intern will typically get involved in all aspects of HR as per their areas of interest and desire to get involved in HR initiatives. This is a great learning opportunity for an individual that is passionate about HR, helping people progress in their career and helping resolve issues in their day to day working life. We offer flexibility in how we get our work done and are open to discuss any individual requirements.

Job Description The Human Resources Intern will support various HR Initiatives across the Dowty employee populations at the Brockworth site, spanning Learning and Development, Recruitment, Employee Lifecyle, Employee Relations and Total Rewards with key focus on the following tasks:
  • Handle employee questions and queries
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on job postings and onboarding of new employees
  • Work with People Operations team to have updated employee data with regular quality checks
  • Partner with People Leaders to coordinate site wide initiatives
  • Support our engagement team
  • Initiate employee life-cycle event
  • Support off-boarding process
  • Contribute to preparing site practices and procedures
  • Support training deliveries
Required Qualifications
  • Ongoing University studies or just finished University in the field of Business/ Economics / Psychology / Human Resources
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
