Our technical specialists deploy systems running many of the major operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and multiple Linux distros. We also provide Messaging and Collaboration systems and support, Application packaging and deployment, along with supporting Infrastructure and Cloud services and support. Our time can be split between our services and project work, so we have the chance to be multi-disciplined and access to a range of technologies.

Role Overview:

We need a true ServiceNow expert who can configure and maintain this Software. You will design and develop solutions, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform as well as acting as an escalation point for high level, complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Involved in supporting and configuring COTS packages such as Service Now to meet the requirements of both SSCL and Authority Users
  • Involved in planning and implementing patching and upgrades to COTS packages across all environments e.g. Development, Test, Pre-Prod and Production.
  • Working to resolve Incidents, one-off data fixes and technical issues as efficiently as possible to limit financial penalties relating to Measures of Performance (MoPs)
  • Makes the required software changes or data fixes and ensures they are robustly documented and tested in accordance with CASS and Account processes
  • Undertakes analysis, produces recommended solutions/documentation for new requirements and produces detailed estimates for CASS change
  • Support Change requests by participating in the business/systems requirements process, coding/configuring, testing, test plan preparation, testing validation, program debugging, defect remediation, implementation, and coordination of program releases
  • Assisting in creating solutions that enhance productivity and effectiveness of systems
  • Executes unit tests and documents outcomes
  • Escalation of Risks and Issues to BAU Team Lead

You will need to have:

  • Experience of supporting the Service Now COTS package, or equivalent applications.
  • Experience of generating Service Reports and dashboards.
  • Experience of reviewing functional and technical specifications..
