Our technical specialists deploy systems running many of the major operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and multiple Linux distros. Our time can be split between our services and project work, so we have the chance to be multi-disciplined and access to a range of technologies.

The Day Job

The primary role of a SharePoint Designer is the ability to deliver solutions for several SharePoint features that are based on challenging customer requirements. 
On premise configuration in a stand-alone configuration and cloud native Office365 suite (SharePoint specific) responsibilities for:

  • Create SharePoint components/capabilities and designs (Enterprise Search, Governance, One Drive, Web Content Management Service, Server (platform). 
  • Under the general direction, constructs, designs, tests and implements the part of the basic system that enables and supports engineering and business functions. 
  • Researching the system and technical environment needs. 
  • Defining the scope, plans and deliverables regarding the assigned basic projects. 
  • Collecting detailed technical and user requirements and working with others for analysing the collected requirements, translating into programmable solutions and also ensuring that the identified solutions meet consumer expectations and needs. 
  • Under appropriate supervision, the consultant designs, tests and implements the basic integrated solution and the distributed computing solutions for clients.
  • Monitoring the performance for identifying and resolving the system problems. 

Essential Skills

  • Superb communication skills along with the ability to give verbal and written reports. 
  • Ability to interpret and analyse requirements, with an ability to derive user experience driven outcomes. 
  • Must have a team-oriented attitude to train others involved in the program including clients. 
  • Familiarity with various software defect tracking methods.
  • Awareness an experience of designing secure systems, providing adherence to ISO 27001. 
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages. 
  • Experienced in the use of source control and forming releases. 
  • Certification in the appropriate SharePoint Microsoft qualifications.

Additional Skills

  • Identity management knowledge, specifically ADFS.
