Job Description Summary Role Summary/Purpose:
As Materials Engineer, you will be part of LM Service originations within LM Front End Engineering department. Your role is critical in servicing technologies, products, and solutions of fleet issues to meet the expected performance of the blade for end customer.
The materials service engineer is the key role is introducing of new materials and drive test and validation of them.
In addition, the materials engineer will have the responsibility to identify the technical risks and to propose mitigation actions to reduce them to an acceptable level by means of a materials roadmap.
We believe in technology, problem solving, and technical solutions being applied to our products. Having a robust product that meets the customer requirement and our business ask is key to our success. You are a strong technical and people leader with personal drive, and are process oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, and excellent understanding of technology and product development and execution
Key responsibilities include:
•Introducing new materials in service to meet new requirements.
•Bring time down on repairs by replacing materials with new
•DFMEA review and update based on field experience.
•Participate in new product introduction to ensure the Service ability of them.
•Help drive materials technology roadmap
•Support Service and Customer queries related materials
•Conducting chemical tests in relation to the introduction of new materials and chemicals.
•Driving internal diverse projects - from developing a new test method to a new procedure for documentation.

- Bachelor/MS in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledgeable in DFMEAs, RAMS processes and tools
- Demonstrated strong system thinking and quality mindset.
- Quick to learn & adopt new technologies and product introduction into service business.
- Experience working within a branded environment
- Knowledge of large-scale production and advantages
- Project management experience
- Experience working with contractors, consultants and suppliers
- Fluent in english - verbal and written
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time
- Experience in Wind business and advantages
- Ability to design, analyze, document, plan
