Job Description Summary The Global Product Marketing Manager role drives marketing strategy and execution of marketing programs for cardiology products with strategic, creative and analytical capabilities. This includes marketing strategy development, marketing planning and campaign development, multi-channel execution and campaign measurement. Critical to success are emphasis on market and customer insights on a global basis to bring external thinking to marketing and product programs, strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership to drive stakeholder understanding & engagement on marketing programs and deep partnership with regional Field Marketing teams for effective program execution.

Job Description Responsibilities
  • You will develop the marketing strategy and positioning based on deep customer and market insight and in line with overall Pharmaceutical Diagnostics strategy and the global product strategy
  • Develop and maintain deep disease and domain expertise that enables effective marketing of the product portfolio in the context of cardiology clinical care pathways, bringing prior experience from within the cardiology domain
  • Brand management 360 responsibilities: marketing planning, agency interface, cross-functional team co-ordination, execution planning and implementation
  • Build working processes and relationships with regional Field Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Legal and Compliance teams for strategic understanding and partnership in driving effective and efficient programs
  • Develop and execute priority campaigns and drive implementation and measurement with regional Field Marketing teams
  • Develop multi-channel marketing programs (non-branded/disease awareness, branded, educational), execute and measure through optimal channels working with advertising & promotion partners and regional marketing teams
  • Develop advocacy programs and network across Key Opinion Leaders, Patient Associations, Societies and other influencers
  • Global new product launch planning, including execution and roll-out, covering for example, launch marketing plan, launch toolkit, alignment with regional teams and measurement of success versus the original business case
  • Working with market research teams to understand market insights and develop product value propositions and pricing strategies
  • Contribution to marketing functional development through continuous learning and specific assignments to develop marketing excellence
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Management System and Policies as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory approval compliance for all marketing communications prior to external release

Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Significant experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
  • Pharmaceutical product/industry acumen, preferably in diagnostics, imaging agents. Familiar with healthcare and pharmaceutical compliance landscape and promotional guidelines (eg ABPI, FDA guidance)
  • Experience in cardiology (understanding of care pathways and how different modalities such as CTA, MRI, Nuclear Cardiology, etc are used) and interest in continued learning within this rapidly evolving care area with developing technological innovations
  • Experience in brand positioning development
  • Experience in developing and implementing global or multi-regional marketing programs
  • Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical brand campaigns including hands-on multi-channel and digital campaign design and implementation
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills to influence teams and work in a matrix environment
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical, data interpretation and process skills, including the ability to understand and build business cases
  • Project management rigor and process capability
  • Innovation - develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
  • Team oriented - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
  • Influencing skills - ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
