Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret

Requirement Title: FFT GUI Developer

  • Under the direction/guidance of a technical lead the software developer will update Friendly Force Tracking (FFT) software modules (NIRIS, OANT and the FFT test tool) to the last version of the FFT standard and on the same tool set will also do, where needed, bug solving activities.
  • Update NIRIS FFT software modules to the ADatP-36(B) version of the FFT standard
  • Update OANT FFT software modules to the ADatP-36(B) version of the FFT standard
  • Update FFT Test Tool to the ADatP-36(B) version of the FFT standard
  • Develop new FFT test scripts for the FFT Test Tool
  • Support the automate FFT software integration and deployment to the test platform.
  • Support the bug solving for the above software modules.
  • The software developer may also be requested to provide ad-hoc support

Requirements

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in system and software design and development of Graphical User Interfaces using Java, JavaScript and schematron/XSLT.
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in defining and manipulating messages using XML, XSD, JSON, XSLT technologies.
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in preparing automation scripts in JavaScript.
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in using development tools (e.g. Maven, Jira, TestRail) and methodologies (e.g. Agile).
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in developing and documenting SOAP/REST API's and software interfaces based on the TCP and UDP protocols.
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in documenting source code and design, online help.
  • The candidate has relevant and recent experience in continuous software integration and automating deployment on Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms.
  • The candidate is able to speak and write fluent English since the work is conducted in English.
  • The candidate must have the nationality of one of the NATO nations.
  • Practical experience in the following areas is also desired:
  • 1. The candidate has relevant and recent knowledge and usage and development of NIRIS.
  • 2. The candidate has relevant and recent experience in working with a software development team.
