Job Description Summary As an Apprentice Document Control Analyst, you will be a key part of our service operations team ensuring the right documents are available to the right people when needed.
This is an excellent opportunity to join GE Renewable Energy in the UK on a Modern Apprenticeship Programme. On completion of the programme, successful candidates will have completed a Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration, gaining an SVQ at SCQF level 6.

Job Description Essential Responsibilities:
This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday.

This apprenticeship will follow a two-year training programme.

The Modern Apprentice will function under the overall guidance of the Apprentice Officer but also on a day to day basis under the control of the Team Leader / Supervisor in charge of the department where the Apprentice's current training is taking place.

You will be responsible for collating, quality checking and processing all asset related documentation including but not limited to preventative maintenance reports, asset performance/condition reports and asset task completion reports. This will require close collaboration with field engineers, and attention to detail with documentation.

You will support leaders in a number of areas such as managing the maintenance material/tooling database, developing and updating maintenance plans and reporting out on progress. You will also assist with the analysis of asset performance.

Self-motivation, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required, along with the ability to accurately follow work process instructions.

You will:
  • Adhere to GE health & safety policy and safe working practices.
  • Be highly self-motivated, be able to work in a small team and independently.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Have a sound knowledge of computers, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Be working to targets and deadlines.
  • Be able to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Be working with your team in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications/Requirements :
Scottish National 5 Grades (or Equivalent) in English, Maths and an IT subject.
Previous experience with Microsoft Excel.
Confident personality.
Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
