The Role of a Commercial Manager/Quantity SurveyorEDF wish to engage a Quantity Surveyors (QS Resource) as a supplementary resource to the existing Supply Chain team. The QS Resource will supplement the existing commercial team with a Quantity Surveying resource that will be tasked to perform several discrete activities on a key Contract. This resource will be allocated a number of individual tasks for which the effectiveness of performance will be measurable to a pre -agreed criterion. This will facilitate specific detailed analysis of defined cost and ensure disallowable costs are appropriately identified and removed.
Expected Knowledge & Skills:?? QS/Financial Accountant with minimum 5 years NEC Defined Costs Project experience?? Strong Commercial & Financial Acumen?? Ability to work with others as well as alone?? Self-Starter?? Organised and able to prioritise key tasks?? Ability to deal with large data files and present findings in a comprehensive manner?? Computer Literate ??? Strong Excel / Data Base user ability?? Good negotiation skill?? Strong Stakeholder experience
