Job Description Summary We are looking for a dynamic and talented engineer to join our quality team at GE Monitoring & Diagnostics in Lisburn. Working within the Global Supply Chain division you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects to support the growth of our business.
Drive improved product quality through problem resolution, and the develop of quality processes and analysis tools. The individual will leverage quality tools in a cross-functional environment.

Job Description Responsibilities will include:
  • Analysis of existing processes and execution of improvements
  • Improvement and development of data analysis tools (MS Excel/Access)
  • Quality defect containment in production & Root cause analysis
  • Quality Project planning and execution
  • Other continuous improvement activities

Essential Criteria:
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
  • Has or currently are pursuing a degree in Engineering or IT (preferably Electronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial, but all considered)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Access
  • Demonstrated time management capability
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment or independently on multiple projects with strict completion deadlines.
  • Good writing skills, accuracy and an eye for detail.

Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous industrial work experience
  • Confident at programming in excel, access and managing or developing databases/macros
  • Drive to develop a quality culture
