Currently have a requirement for a number of Security Cleared (SC) Administrators or Project Admin Support Officers, to assist my client on a long term contract opportunity.

Our client have advised that the initial duration for this role will be 12 months, but the scope for this project is to extend further, with the possibility to move to a permanent position.

Due to the nature of the role and the time scale and requirements issued by the client, candidates have been advised to hold current and active SC clearance for this opportunity.

In addition, we have been advised that this role will be completely remote based and has been determined to fall inside of IR35 regulations.

Ideally, our client are looking for a number of Officers to work in the Commercial team at varying seniorities.  For these varied roles they are not necessarily looking for individuals with Commercial Officer experience, we are seeking commercial acumen and excellent customer engagement skills.

The roles may include Customer relationship management, Supplier relationship management and contract management and engaging with wider stakeholders to enable both existing contracts and future commercial strategies; so suitable candidates must have excellent communication skills to be able to effective communicate with all levels of the project.

Some of the responsibilities of the role may include:

  • Stakeholder engagement, both internal and external
  • Delivering contract negotiations with a focus on maximum Value for Money
  • Management of multiple Suppliers and the contract pipeline
  • Monitoring and managing supplier and contract performance and managing commercial risk
  • Transition to Contract, Supplier Relationship Management
  • Supplier Relationship and Performance Management
  • Exit & Re-procurement and Closedown
  • Contract Performance Management
  • Contract Administration
  • Customer Engagement
  • Requirements gathering
  • Letting contracts
  • Running competitions
  • Reviewing cost evaluation models and proposals
  • Capture savings
  • Following procurement processes
  • Supplier compliance and governance

Ideally, our client are looking for candidates with the following key skills:

  • Ability to follow processes closely
  • Commercial acumen
  • Relationship management
  • Requirement gathering
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at varying seniorities

Additionally, if candidates have technical experience of using Officer 365, this would also be highly beneficial for this role.
