Interim Commercial Systems Implementation Lead 

Pay Rate: Up to £550 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

This role is on site at either Cumbria or Warrington.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure commercial activity is planned, controlled, and complies with regulations
  • Ensure risks are identified early e.g. contract expiry and supplier financial distress
  • Enable senior level oversight and confidence in processes and reporting
  • Fulfil the requirements of commercial capability blueprint and performance against the organisational Commercial Operating Standards
  • The scope of the new commercial IT systems suite comprises: Procurement pipeline planning and management, Market and supplier intelligence, Sourcing, Contract management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, Reporting, analytics and dashboarding

 

Minimum Requirement:

  • An understanding of conduct regulations
  • Ideally systems experience
  • A background of implementing an IT system with procurement experience is desirable
  • Previous procurement system implementation
  • Working knowledge of whole public procurement lifecycle
  • Experienced user and implementer of commercial systems that enable the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
  • Effective stakeholder manager, comfortable working across organisational boundaries in a fluid environment.
  • Understands the risks and dependencies involved with bringing together multiple IT systems and how to manage these effectively
