Customer Services business leads the way in providing exemplary customer service to an exclusively public sector customer. Trusted by over 30 Government departments and public bodies to deliver customer engagement and complex case management to UK citizens on their behalf, we employ over 12,000 Advisers across our state of the art omni-channel Contact Centres and homeworking through our Serco@Home model - more than any other provider in the UK. Together, these Advisers respond to over 64 customer enquiries a minute on our clients' behalf, in what is often a demanding and high-pressured environment, including as the partner of choice to Cabinet Office, the Department of Health & Social Care, and the Department for Work & Pensions.

We are looking for a seeking a Capture Manager with proven experience and leadership in directing and managing multi service opportunities as part of the Business Development team and in collaborations with, Sales teams, Commercial, Legal, Business Unit Delivery Leads, Transition and Transformation Project leadership, Corporate Shared Services and Bidding Services.

You'll be responsible for capture management of our opportunities (both new, Framework call off and rebids). The Capture Manager will be responsible from Gate 2 through the bid lifecycle to typically Gate 5 although there will be instances when involvement pre-Gate 2 and post-Gate 5 is required, notably when engaging and handing over to Transition and Transformation leadership. The projects may include addressing non-standard Terms & Conditions, complex risk allocations and/or commercial structures.

What you need to do the job:

You will be an experienced Capture Manager, who has proven leadership skills, directing and managing multi-service opportunities at various stages of the Business Development Lifecycle. Knowledge and understanding of the outsourcing or customer services / contact centre market would be highly advantageous. With a proactive, positive, innovative, customer focused, responsive you'll be able to develop and sell tailored solutions and consistently deliver results. Naturally confident, you will be able to liaise with all stakeholders and have the gravitas to build solid relationships to leverage capability. It is important that you can get the best out of practices and processes and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
