Fixed term contract - 12 months

Salary from £18,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

Here at Serco we're looking for a Credit Controller to join us at Lincolnshire County Council. Reporting into the Senior Credit Controller, the post holder will complete the Credit Control Service on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council and Serco ensuring the delivery of a quality service to customers and clients.

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for processing and dealing with daily reminder notices, running and dispatching of daily invoicing runs and managing and responding to emails, telephone calls and daily incoming post (escalation of complex matters to Senior Credit Controller & Credit Control Manager). The post holder will create subscription invoices and approve credit notes and access debtors to establish their financial circumstances and ability to pay.

Other administrative / customer support duties will include reviewing invoices and reminder letters for quality control and advising on debt recovery process as and when required.

What you'll need to do the role
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience and knowledge of all credit control procedures and experience of working within a financial environment. You will also have extensive IT skills, both PC packages and financial systems.
