As a global FTSE 250 company with over 500 contracts across 20 countries Serco provides a diverse range of public services to citizens on behalf of Local Authorities and Central Government. These range from the administration of major employment and health programmes, to managing major services in partnership with Local Authorities such as Leisure and Environmental Services.

Due to a sustained period of growth which is forecasted to continue, we are looking to recruit a Director of Operational Analytics . This role w ill ensure that operational goals and objectives are delivered in line with business plans, customer requirements, agreed service levels and the Serco Management System. You'll also be responsible for developing and implementing necessary policies and procedures to ensure effective operational management control and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

In this high-profile position, we will be looking for you to utilise your knowledge and expertise to positively influence the level of operational delivery within Citizen Services. What you'll ned to do the role

  • Firstly, you'll need a demonstrable track record of delivering in complex and demanding environments, interacting with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Advanced understanding of business planning and programme methodology with a strong interest in the economics of how a business operates, and advanced level of proficiency with excel or more sophisticated modelling tools.
  • Experience of developing and executing an operations strategy in complex service contracts ideally delivering to the public sector.
  • Lastly, you'll need a solid understanding of our markets, services, competitive forces, market and industry, with ability to apply insights into decision making.
