As a global company of 50,000 employees, HR is at the heart of many of the vital services that Serco provide, from caring for vulnerable people, managing complex public services, to heavy rail and hospital operations. The People Reporting and Analytics team are passionate about what they do and are proud to make a positive difference to the services that Serco delivers. As the People Repoering Analyst, you will provide technical expertise and hands on development of People-related reports, dashboards and analytics. You will work closely with the rest of the People Reporting and Analytics team to enable the most effective use of People data to drive business decision making, change and strategic planning. You'll lead on the design, build and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions to better enable the HR community to gain visibility of key management information and insights while building a strong understanding of Serco's source systems, data architecture and reporting and analysis tools.

In return we can offer a supportive and collaborative environment that respects work/life balance and ultimately contributes to the delivery of vital public services in the UK.

What you'll need to do the role

Firstly, you'll need knowledge and experience of development within BI platforms and tools with strong data visualisation presentation skills and data manipulation skills, including ability to extract, transform, and analyse multiple large data sets. You'll be able to translate complex data into a simple, easy to understand format for non-technical customers, and senior leaders. You'll need experience of breaking down complex issues and develop solutions based on findings in the data. Lastly, it's highly advantageous if you have experience of using SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Microsoft Power BI.
