My client is seeking a Network Engineer with SC clearance to be based in Warrington for an initial 3 month contract.
Duration: 3-6 Months
Location: Warrington (onsite)
Pay: £350 per day
SC clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be an integral member of the support team.
- To investigate and resolve assign incidents.
- To action approved and designed changes.
- To communicate with customers to provide progress reports on Incidents.
- To identify and report on areas of known problems.
- To monitor relevant queues within the incident reporting tool.
- Measures and optimises infrastructure network performance.
- Administers IT resources and networks (users, quality of service, site security, IT networks, telecommunications infrastructure, transverse applications)
- Provides Tier 2 support, in the framework of service level agreements (SLA)
- Must regularly inform the Team Leader or another manager regarding work and projects progress.
Essential Skills:
- Sound decision making abilities based on the salient facts.
- Exhibit excellent communications skills, both oral and written, with proven experience of working in a team environment to achieve challenging but stimulating technology solutions.
- Ability to communicate at all levels both within Steria and with Customers.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for delivering an excellent customer service.
