Job Description Summary Reporting to the Executive Sourcing leader of Grid solutions, the Sourcing Logistics & Transportation Leader - Grid Solutions is responsible for developing, implementing and leading the Logistics and Transportation Sourcing strategy for products and services for the Grid Solutions business, with a portfolio spend of $200 Million, with anticipated continued significant growth.

Job Description Set the strategy for Logistic and Transportation, with emphasis on creating added value through sourcing, material management and logistics to meet overall business goals; distinguish between the differing Sourcing Transportation requirements of the Product and Project business aspects of Grid Solutions, and apply appropriate strategic & tactical solutions to deliver the business needs.
Drive logistics Inbound and Outbound activity in achieving QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) targets by improving operational excellence and reducing cost; engages with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost out and then drives the execution of Sourcing initiatives to meet cost improvement targets.
Drives a cohesive global Commodity strategy to optimize business benefit from global contracts whilst providing scope for adaptation to meet market challenges.
Engage in, contribute to, and lead programs such as Incoterms strategy within Revival umbrella to meet Grid Solutions and Global GE Sourcing targets and initiatives.
Represent "GRID" as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Transport and Transport associated matters across GE
Overall responsible to deliver targeted Deflation  and DTP improvement on GRID transport negotiable spend to contribute in achieving the GRID Sourcing savings and DTP improvement results.
Overall responsible to Analyze, Initiate and implement Transport Sourcing Improvement Initiatives across GRID; while working with Product Lines to ensure continuous improvement and business fulfilment.
Overall responsible to improve GRID ITO/OTR processes.
Lead strategic & "critical to business" projects transport sourcing at ITO/OTR stages.
Lead and negotiate critical suppliers claim and their settlement in line with GRID/project financial objectives.
Adhere, promote and assure GE | ETHICS, INTEGRITY and EHS compliance policies across the GRID within transport sourcing function and processes all P&Ls.
