Job Description Summary Product Line Quality Leader - responsible for shaping the quality vision and driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization to satisfy customers and meet the goals and objectives of the business.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
  • Development and implementation of quality strategy in line with product line business strategy and Grid Solutions quality policy.
  • Responsible for the product line and site achievement of outcomes defined and measured by business and site quality KPI's such as Cost of Poor Quality, product reliability metrics and manufacturing rolled through yield.
  • Work collaboratively across M&D functions, including customer service, manufacturing, and engineering teams to drive quality strategy as member of the M&D product line leadership.
  • Work with regional sales and service teams to develop key customer relationships, including preparing for and delivering customer presentations.
  • Ensure product quality metrics are visible. Responsible for the planning, developing, directing and implementation of techniques to ensure maintenance and improvement of products and processes. Escalate issues, risks and deficiencies where required to achieve adequate focus.
  • Drive & co-ordinate quality issue prevention strategy leveraging tools such as error proofing and FMEA.
  • Drive a problem-solving culture using relevant root cause analysis tools such as 8D.
  • Implement Ship Holds and their release in conjunction with necessary containment actions to protect customer.
  • Work with technology team to support New Product Introduction as designated quality sign off representative.
  • Oversee a team of Quality professionals to achieve quality team priorities.
  •  Operationalize GA QMS policies/procedures/WI/control for operations at the site. Responsible for the co-ordination of internal audit program; including process audits and out of box audits.
  • Hosting and preparing for external audits and customer visits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Strong years leadership experience in a technical field and of 3 years in a quality related function
