Job Description Summary The SG&A analyst will work as part of the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics FP&A team supporting the completeness and accuracy of the SG&A costs across PDX. The SG&A analyst will work cross-functionally with regional finance managers, Group FP&A, functional finance and operations managers to drive key SG&A processes, reporting directly to the PDX Global FP&A manager.

Job Description Key responsibilities:
- Liase with functional and regional finance managers accurately update weekly/monthly and quarterly closing estimates.
- Partner with FP&A income statement & reporting leader drive visibility and accurate actuals/estimates
- Track progress against plan at a granular level.
- Maintain account & cost centre mapping tables, implementing any changes in and timely and accurate manner
- Assist the income statement and reporting leader in the operating plans/forecast/reviews, GPB (3 year plan) and SII (1 year plan)
- Own and set up standard work and templates across functions and regions SG&A processes
- Assist with standard work and continuous improvement of the SG&A processes
- Set up and run trainings across the PDX finance teams for new P&L requirements
- Assist with timely and accurate management reporting (regional and segment P&L's) and communicate results to managers.
- Drive M1DC and monthly P&L initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field or equivalent knowledge.
- A first experience in progressive accounting or finance.
- Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- Experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Business Objects, Hyperion, etc.), strong excel and access skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e.: pivot tables, Vlookup and macros).

- Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills
- Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP); or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS)/Operational Finance leadership program (OFLP); Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) or graduate of other financial leadership programs is an asset.
