Project Manager– Central Government (Platforms)

Our project and programme delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government.   
 
What will you be doing?
  
We are looking for several Project Managers to become core members of RPS’s Project Management Team, to help our client across a broad cross section of programmes that are in need of support both to raise understanding of PPM and PMO good practice.   
 
You will be working closely with senior stakeholders and skilled engineering teams across a range of infrastructure projects. The team you will be working with manages a full lifecycle of activities prioritising strategic outcomes. This will all be achieved whilst ensuring the projects and programmes all deliver.    
 
Experience: 
 

• Demonstrable success as a Project Manager with a broad understanding of Infrastructure projects from prior or previous experience, ideally prior experience in working with Central Government Functions.
• Ideally previous experience working with / on GDS / Government infrastructure tech stacks.
• Experience of project management of +1M investment.

 
Skills: 
 

• Managing and Influencing Stakeholders, including Local Authority/Government officials, Demonstrable experience of leading project planning.
• Delivery of projects into private and public cloud environments.
• Valid Security Clearance

 
Although remote initially, all applicants must be willing and able to travel to onsite client locations in London and Manchester once government restrictions surrounding COVID19 travel are eased.
