Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provides a broad range of communications functions and services across a business or for a particular geographical regions or hub. Partners with business leadership to ensure the performance of communications generalist activities.
  • Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. These jobs have significant input into their priorities. Jobs at this level tend to be covered by professional practices and policies but these are shaped by the role. Working within broad guidelines and policies, roles at this level have moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of evaluative judgment.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Job Description External Comms •   Owner of the LM Wind Power brand online and defining our global social media strategy. •    Architect in development plans for online activities, consolidating our activities for best use in all online brand touchpoints. •    Deeply involved in driving the creative processes, from idea to finished product (sales and marketing collateral as well as material for internal use in learning situations) •    Brand manager capabilities, influencing and guiding functions in brand compliance through the Brand Manual to ensure internal and external Brand compliance •    Managing the dual-brand challenge in an external brand touch point environment. Supporting GE Renewable Energy goals while maintaining and developing an LM voice within agreed parameters Internal Comms •    Key partner with multiple functions, helping navigate to deliver best communications efforts, using the Comms Cycle •    Managing a multi-layered information / communication flow that comes from being a tier 2 business, ensuring that key campaigns for GE Renewable Energy enjoy traction and play well into LM Wind Power needs and priorities, always with an eye for Communications for Effect and what brings value to the employee and our strategic goals. •    Influencer to SharePoint development and mobile adoption to increase communications and collaboration capabilities - from workplaces to workspaces •    Brand Manager, enabling the LM community to correctly represent our brand promise in their outputs, using imagery and logos correct in templates that are easy to use •    Owner of a centrally manageable solution to ensure aligned branding across receptions and plants Required Qualifications
  • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
  • Ability to lead a team and coach and mentor members in team and extended team
  • This role requires significant experience in the Communications & Communications Business Partner. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
