The Role of a Programme ManagerThe role is exciting opportunity to project manage as part of a review programme that is under development. This role will be the programme manager supporting the delivery of the review programme.
The review aims to make efficiency savings on a grant which funds protective security for key individuals and sites across Great Britain. These projects are going to be challenging and involve dealing with multiple sensitive stakeholders.
A review team has already been established, and this role will form part of the team. It will involve close working with the police, other government departments and key stakeholders to deliver the programme.
Key Deliverables
- Project management of multiple projects: developing project plans, collaborating with project managers in other organisations and holding stakeholders to account.Support to programme manager and SRO in the development of the structures and processes necessary for the delivery of the programme.
Essential Criteria:
- Programme Management/ Project Management ExperienceExperience working on large scale programmesCommunication/presentation skills with difficult and sensitive stakeholdersExperience at collaborating across multiple organisationsMust've worked in a fast paced environmentStakeholder Management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience of change projects in policing would be desirable.Experience of working in government is essential.Experience of working on projects with multiple organisations desirable.
