Tameside District is looking to recruit an administrator to work within the Demand and Resource Management Unit.

The key purpose of the unit is to Maintain the annual roster, divisional planner and duty management abstraction systems for all officers and employees as appropriate, taking into account pre-planned events, in order to obtain optimum levels of resourcing within prescribed divisional resourcing 'safety levels'.

Working as part of a team & under the supervision of the DRMU Sergeant you will be required to undertake a range of duties appropriate to the grade of the post including Produce/agree a full annual training schedule for mandatory training, identifying officers and planning attendance to match with training dates in accordance with criteria e.g. availability of officer, length of service, cover arrangements etc.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a busy environment and must have previous administrative experience. They should also be able to liaise with a range of different customers at all levels across the organisation. The ability to summarise large amounts of information accurately using analytical skills is essential as is the ability to interpret Police Regulations.
