Job description

  • Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
  • Efficient in communication skill and ability to interact with client on day-to-day basis.
  • Development with RESTful API interfaces, and Lambdas in Python/Java along with front end tool stack using Angular Js
  • Implement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
  • Write infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation or similar.
  • General troubleshooting and debugging.

The skills we are seeking

  • Core language expertise in Python / Java / javascript (angular js)
  • Working experience in github/gitlab
  • Experience in working in Agile - Scrum methodology and knowledge of Agile and monitoring tools - Jira, Trello and Splunk.
  • Cooperating with the front-end developer/backend developer in the process of building the RESTful API and integration with Angular Js
  • Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
  • Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
  • Good background in Linux/Unix administration.
  • Experience in AWS serverless and implementation knowledge of Simple Notification Service, Amazon Simple Workflow Service, AWS code base, Nexus, cloud formation and terraform.
  • Deep knowledge of Python and Java practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
  • Experience in Monitoring services like Splunk or logging with AWS cloudwatch
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the AWS platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
  • Extensive experience in angular scripting and Nexus.
  • Experience in Amazon Web services (AWS) - S3 storage, code pipeline, Lambda, , DynamoDB and API gateway.
