Summary:

Our client is a Tier 1 global consultancy involved in many leading mission critical projects. One of their key critical IT infrastructure programmes, employing over 100 of their UK consultants, is looking for confident Linux Systems Administrators to join their Gloucester based team. This team develops truly Enterprise scale Cloud infrastructure solutions and represent one of the few programmes within the UK that develops infrastructures at such scale and complexity.

Required experience and qualifications:

This role would suit a Linux System Administrator who is keen to move to DevOps and will be particularly suitable to candidates from a defence background. Other skills and experience required include:

• Redhat Linux server administration
• Scripting languages such as Python, Bash and Java
• Configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet and Foreman
• Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Openshift, Azure and AWS
