Job Description Summary The Marshalling Harbour Project Engineer is responsible to lead, with the Project Management team, all Engineering analyses and documentation related to the execution of Marshalling Harbour activities of the project, in a timely manner and in accordance with GE processes, with the local regulation and with the contract. He / she is also responsible to develop specifications for the design of pre-assembly foundations that will be used to erect vertical towers during pre-assembly operations at the Marshalling Harbour.

He/she is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) - Marshalling Harbour department. He /she reports to the Project Hub Manager.

He/she will demonstrate an excellent communication with plan ahead mindset and knowledge of logistics industry. He/she will also be prepared to cover extended scope of PMO in order to support other Logistics Hubs activities.

Job Description Responsible for the issuance of technical and structural analysis, mainly related to logistics operations, and for the issuance of contractual documentation for the assigned project (specifications, calculations, coordination of studies related to lifting, load spreading, storage, maneuvering, transporting wind turbine components), using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and program requirements, in accordance with the contract and with GE Quality and EHS processes.

Develop specifications for the design of pre-assembly foundations that will be used to support vertical towers during pre-assembly operations at the Marshalling Harbour.

Supervise the RFQ process, design, order, manufacturing, delivery and installation of pre-assembly tower foundations.

Supervise and review the documentary production of GE subcontractors operating in the Marshalling Harbour, such as lifting plans, method of statement, storage plans, warehouse plans and ground bearing capacity analyses.

Interpret contractual specifications to produce technical specifications usable by the business.

Responsible to carry all documentary preparation works in advance of the Marshalling Harbour mobilization and during Marshalling Harbour operations.

Participate in the risk assessment of technical aspects of the project and the development and application of appropriate risk mitigation measures.

Support the Site Safety & environmental initiatives in collaboration with the GE stakeholders.

Ensure that the site layout technically satisfies the operational project requirements.

Attend site visits, work from site when necessary, collect required information and data, and then prepare site visit report.

Maintain KPI related to Marshalling Harbour Engineering activity.

Collaborate with other functions to determine root cause and define both corrective and preventive actions for turbine or fleet issues.

Manage cost-out initiatives related to the Marshalling Harbour Project Engineering function.

Advise of any major issues, especially those affecting commercial or schedule aspects of the contract for the Project director to review and accept.

Provide technical inputs for the preparation of tenders and offers in line with customers technical and administrative requirements.

Undertake other tasks as may be requested by the PMO.
