Supply Chain & Procurement Manager - Fixed Term Contract
UK based role with flexible home working
Full time, fixed term contract - 9 to 12 months
Competitive basic salary
Please note that the role is subject to bid award
VIVO, a 50:50 joint venture between Serco and ENGIE, has been awarded places on the Defence FM and Housing Maintenance framework contracts.
VIVO embodies both experience and innovation. It combines Serco's comprehensive track record delivering engineering, technical and FM services to the UK MOD for over 55 years with ENGIE's market leading FM, energy, asset optimisation and regeneration capabilities.
Within this team, we are currently looking to recruit for a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to initially identify and mobilise VIVO's supply chain and then look to ensure that this remains effective and appropriate across contracts and service lines.
This individual will play a key role within VIVO during the early stages of the business in identifying and sourcing appropriate contracts in line with operational needs at go-live stage. Past this point, the role will be tasked in managing these suppliers performance and look to develop a culture of continuous improvement and best practice, while making changes to these suppliers as and when necessary.
What you need to do the role
As the company's subject matter expert on procurement, it's essential that this individual holds a CIPS qualification, which would also come with demonstratable experience of contract negotiation.
This is a role perfect for someone looking for their next challenge, who is comfortable and experienced at influencing stakeholders and who ideally also has a construction or hard facilities background.
Having previous exposure to the full sourcing life cycle (from initial sourcing, through to execution and review) is important as this individual joins the VIVO team at this vital stage.
Due to the nature of this role, Security Clearance will be required or must be attainable.
