Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for Programme Manager to join our team of experts to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support.
Who will you be working for?
With a wealth of experience to draw on through working with customers from a variety of sectors including Banking, Media and Central Government, Reed Professional Services (RPS) understands the broad scope of identifying business opportunities from concept to delivery, with programmes that are end solution focused. Our emphasis is on developing quality from the outset, testing at every step to keep both budget and deliverables on track.
What will you be doing?
You will be joining our RPS’s delivery team as a Programme Manager to roll out the new DMR process and embed efficiencies with the client. The role will be accountable for the construction and delivery of a technical programme of work.
Experience:
- Extensive experience leading large technical programmes of work and technology transformation.
- Demonstrable experience of project managing large scale infrastructure projects.
- Ideally previous experience working with / on GDS / Government infrastructure tech stacks.
- Prior experience working on Cloud / Cloud migration projects.
- Prior experience working on complex technical infrastructure projects – Networks, Servers etc.
- Proven experience working with cross functional tech and infrastructure technical teams.
- Experience working in Government or large and highly regulated environments.
- Experience working in a complex organisation including working directly with a variety and range of non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience of project management of +1M investment.
Candidate must hold valid & active Security Clearance
Although remote working intially, all applicants must be willing and able to travel to onsite client locations once government restrictions surrounding COVID19 travel are eased.
