SC Cleared - IT Service Transition Manager (Inside IR35)

We are currently looking for an IT Service Transition Manager that we will be recruiting for one of our Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks.

As an IT Service Transition Manager, you will: 

• Design, implement and maintain robust transition plan(s) taking into consideration any business activities required to integrate new service into the ‘business as usual’ environment
• Engage with all suppliers as required to complete production and approval service delivery documentation
• Determine the readiness levels of the departments and exiting incoming suppliers and business users with regards to upcoming changes
• Uncover readiness gaps and own action plans to close the gaps. Access risks inherent in proposed transitions, to ensure any potential scheduling and performance issues have minimum impact on provision of other services
• Ensure all relevant department functions are fully engaged in the process and committed to supply resource to complete the transition plan
• Arbitrate in situations of conflict
• Seek out and tackle issues that will prevent the delivery of the business benefits linked to service

You’ll have:

• Understanding and previous experience of IT service definition/ delivery and organisational change
• IT/ICT/ Networking Knowledge – Ability to converse with the technical side of the team
• Experience managing a team
• SC Clearance
• Previous MOD experience

It would be great to also have:

• If you don’t hold previous MOD experience, wider government experience would be beneficial
