My role
As the Cloud Business Change Lead, I am proud to have an exciting role in driving the organisation towards the 2030 Vision, harnessing the power of the cloud, (both culture and technology) for maximum benefit. I work in a busy, fast-paced environment with a varied, supportive and highly motivated team. I can see how the work I do contributes to the delivery of the new capabilities and ways of working the organisation needs to keep ahead in this fast-changing world. In addition, the work the team is doing is ground-breaking; I’m helping us to do things we’ve never done before. As part of a self-managing, agile team I’m using my business change experience in planning, leading and doing work to accelerate the whole organisation’s Journey to the Cloud.

What I do
I am part of the Cloud Hub team, who are at the heart of the organisation’s Journey to the Cloud. My team and I anticipate and solve problems and find better ways of doing things. I:
- I contribute to the transformation strategy and strategic planning of change interventions
- I help to craft the change narrative for the Journey to the Cloud and to bring people along it
- I develop change plans as part of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- I identify, engage and understand service users and stakeholders, and their goals and needs
- I plan, deliver, drive, monitor and adjust change activities
- I contribute across a wide spectrum of change activity
- I report progress on change activities as part of my team
- I work as part of my team to continuously improve by identifying innovation opportunities, leading new initiatives and experimenting with innovative approaches
Experience Required
Essential - experience of three or more of the following:
- Leading similar initiatives in industry or government, particularly in high compliance regimes
- Effecting change through personal intervention
- Engaging and coaching a broad range of stakeholders to enable the change
- Benefits realisation
- Identifying requirements and user needs
- Developing and delivering presentations to varying sizes of audience, both physical and virtual
Desirable
- Highly conversant with digital transformation and leadership
- ·Familiarity with recognised business tools and techniques
- Experience of working within the Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe)
- Using Lean Start Up and innovation approaches
- Familiarity with cloud adoption approaches
