As a global FTSE 250 company with over 500 contracts across 20 countries we rely on the support of our Finance Services Team to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. As our new OTC specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Global Process Lead to monitor and improve process effectiveness and efficiency ensuring strong governance at all levels. The role offers variety, breadth of exposure and significant scope for personal and professional development within finance and the services industry.

Serco Finance Services works with an offshore partner to deliver finance services to the UK, Middle East and ASPAC regions and is responsible for operating key finance processes and working within the finance operating model. Working from our Hook headquarters, your role will be to facilitate the day to day onshore tasks for OTC identifying areas where onshore intervention is required and flagging up areas where offshore performance is deviating from agreed service levels.

About you

Firstly, you will need knowledge of end to end Order to Cash processes from managing the customer on boarding processes to accounting for a customer payment. Ideally, you will have gained this knowledge in a large complex organisation with a busy OTC department. Experience of working with an offshore third party BPO service provider is desirable or experience of working in a shared service environment within a multi-site organisation. Lastly, you'll need to be a great communicator with the ability to build strong collaborative working relationships
