Interim Transformation Lead

One of our clients, a high profile central government regulatory body, is currently looking to bring on board an Interim Transformation Lead to lead on the transformation of business functions in the organisation. This will begin with ICT as a first phase and then move on to the wider Corporate Services.

The role will be required to lead on a range of priorities seeking to bring efficiencies and improve delivery of service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to transform Corporate Services into a highly functioning and commercially viable operating model.

Contract length:               3 – 6 months initially (possibly extending for a further 6 months)

Location:                              Remote working

Salary Range:                    £700 - £900 outside IR35

Clearance Level:               Live SC level security clearance is mandatory for this role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

  • Develop the ICT function into a stable and commercially viable service
  • Implement short term changes required to stabilise the service including structure, contracts and service improvements
  • Oversee transformation via the delivery of the service improvement programme
  • Deliver improvement in staff perceptions of the service – challenging the culture and the way they work
  • Identify the technology ‘traps’ in the organisation’s infrastructure which the compnay needs to be aware of to maintain a live service

Essential Requirements:

  • Experienced in transforming services across a range of specialisms specifically strategic business change and ICT
  • Proven experience in delivery of improvement programmes
  • Experience of delivery of new commercial models and outsourcing of major service functions
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and teams to challenge the norm
  • Able to review existing processes to identify improvements and simplify steps and decision making
  • Ability to draw together and present reasonable conclusions from a wide range of incomplete and complex evidence and data
