About the role

Here at Babcock we are recruiting for Vehicle Mechanics to be based in Tidworth, an MOD Military site. You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of military vehicles, assemblies, electrical and general equipment including diagnostic and inspection duties.

What do I need to do the role?

You will be Educated to Level 3 in Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) / National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) as a minimum (Advanced Apprenticeship, Level 3 VRQ/NVQ) or equivalent.
We would also like you to have relevant work experience in either a commercial or a military environment.
Lastly you will need experience if working with Heavy Goods Vehicles.

What else do I need to know?

The successful candidate must be willing to go through a SC clearance.
This role offers a four day week, from Mon-Thu.
All tools and PPE are provided by the employer.
A competitive salary is being offered for this role.
You will need to hold a full UK Driving Licence.
