Job Details

An exciting opportunity has become available working within the Executive Department as an integral part of a small team ensuring the effective and efficient provision of administrative support to the Executive Chief Officers.

The post involves varied administrative tasks which includes liaison with departments across the organisation, therefore excellent communication skills are essential. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook is essential as time and diary management is a crucial part of this role and there will also be a requirement to manage electronic communications.

Attention to detail and being proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary as there will be a requirement to maintain accurate records and prepare and present documents in an efficient, timely, accurate and confidential manner.

The successful candidate will need to be a highly motivated individual, who has the ability to work using their own initiative by prioritising their workload to ensure they are able to provide administrative support to the Executive Chief Officers.

The successful candidate will be located at Police Headquarters, Welwyn Garden City.
