Essential Responsibilities :
The objective of the role is to support the Healthcare Business Sourcing team in consolidating and managing the overall Healthcare spend for GE businesses in Northern Europe (UK & IE). This is a highly visible sourcing role, that requires strategic vision, result delivery, project and stakeholder's management skills. The intern will work closely with the Business Sourcing Leaders and will support major initiatives across the region.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist GE Healthcare Business Sourcing team to:
• Support implementing Business Sourcing Initiative projects
• Supplier Matrix Data Cleanse SSP platform
• SSP (GEHC's Purchase Order portal) vendor clean-up/rationalization program
• SSP / ERP interface alignment
• OCDB (Contract Database) Support and leverage
• Communicate to business stakeholders
• Provide administrative support to Business Sourcing team
• Lead data gathering and analysis process(es)
• Lead spend analysis for GE Healthcare
• Manage contract archiving and tracking
• Manage saving reporting and tracking
• Manage regular reporting towards business
• Support preparation and update financial data of project for project reviews
• Support supplier negotiation, e-auctions and communication
• Contribute to building and implementing best-in-class sourcing processes
• Create & Distribute Performance Dashboards
Qualifications/Requirements :
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Fluent in English, additional European languages a plus
• Graduate or placement student of Bachelors degree (Business or relevant)
• Excellent understanding of key business processes and organizational dynamics
• Strong analytical skills
• Confident Excel, Power Point, Word knowledge
• Project management and change management experience
