The Organisation:
As a global IT Services firm, you will be joining an instantly recognisable brand name within the technology field who are currently expanding their specialist National Security capability. Focusing on delivering secure government projects, this team work to help create, test and deliver cutting edge IT solutions whilst actively making a difference for the public at large.
The Role:
As an Automation Tester, you will join a technical testing team who provide functional and non-functional testing services. You will work across the SDLC from scoping and initiation through to delivery.
You will work with the Technical Lead to design, build and maintain automation frameworks. You will produce integration automation scripts and analyse defects discovered during test runs.
Daily duties will range from testing API’s using tools like Postman/SoapUI, coding automated tests, using tools like Selenium/Cucumber/Gherkin and validating application quality through functional and non-functional testing methods.
Requirements:
- Experience of API testing
- Commercial experience in an Agile environment
- Good experience of common automation test engineering tools (Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, Tosca etc)
- Coding ability ideally in Java, .Net or Python
- Some non-functional experience with a preference for performance testing experience
- Existing DV Clearance
