Serco provides a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of local authorities. We are experts in designing, implementing, and managing waste and recycling services. Our waste and recycling services enable local authorities to deliver reliable waste management services for a growing population while driving ongoing cost efficiencies. Working closely with local authorities and residents and we strive to minimise waste and maximise participation in recycling.

We currently have a brand-new exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join or successful and busy team in Norfolk. You'll be responsible for growing our commercial waste and waste recycling services in line with Norfolk Shared Services Partnership aspirations and in support of local businesses and the local economy; whilst being competitive and with simple and transparent pricing policies. You'll generate leads, sales visits and developing mini proposals.

What you'll need to do the role:

Ideally you will already be an experience Commercial Manager, however if you have strong commercial acumen and have experience working is a similar Commercial Waste Services environment then we want to hear from you. You should have experience in developing new business leading to sustained business growth and knowledge around P&L, Commercial Terms, Tenders, Proposals etc.
