OMLP accelerates development of early career talent and produces operational leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics) functions at GE.

    OMLP is a 2-year program consisting of 3 eight-month rotations across our UK sites that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training. Typical rotations include one or more of the following: 

    • Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor 

    • Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow) 

    • Technical (lean, manufacturing engineer, process engineer)

    Useful Information

    • The selection stages include online assessments, video interview and an assessment centre.

    Role Specific Skills

    • Currently studying towards an Operations/Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Engineering related degree

    • Keen interest in Supply Chain

    Leadership Skills 

    • Able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in challenging projects

    • Organised & able to work towards deadlines

    • Inspired and curious to learn

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Able to take ownership for projects

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills    

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    • Able to work as part of a team
