Job Description Summary Are you technically electrical Engineer, aeronautical, sound Mechanical, or? and are you ready to support our business growth and ambitious journey taking development of Lightning Protection Systems to the next level? Then you might be our new Lead LPS Engineer!

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • As a Lead Lightning Protection Engineer you will have the full responsibility for providing technical expertise for new products, process and development initiatives, while working in cross functional environment and proactively maintain interfaces with supply chain, blade test center's, product integrity and service

    You will contribute and lead technology development projects for blade lightning protection, improve existing LPS products, support plants, develop and mature inspection, retrofit and repair methods

    You are self-motivated and resourceful, have great experience and Craftmanship and manage to take a proactive approach in working/ driving tasks with cross functional project teams.

    We expect that you are used to having full ownership and responsibility for leading developing, executing & managing technical deliverables until successful implemented.

    You are robust and have personal drive, and are process oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, and excellent understanding of quality assurance methodology during development and execution.

    It is a prerequisite that you can travel as & if required to our different locations in Europe, Asia and Americas.

Required Qualifications

  • A MSc degree in mechanical, aeronautical or electrical engineering or physics

  • Expert understanding of the field of electronic systems and lightening protection incl. understanding of HIVO electronics

  • Strong design & development expertise with exposure to direct supplier interaction while working closely with project managers.

  • Preferably experience in design & new product development and implementation to production setupIn case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
