Risk Assessor – Remote Working

Pay Rate: Up to £200 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

The position can be carried out from various locations within the UK or working from home.

There will be a requirement to attend meetings which will be held at locations to be confirmed.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To work in partnership with Assessing staff to support Work Based Assessment qualification for newly promoted Sergeants and Inspectors.
  • To Support the development of newly promoted Sergeants and Inspectors by assisting with their completion of the Level 4 & 5 Skills for Justice accredited qualifications. This will include providing regular written feedback on student evidence submissions as well as being available to discuss issues with them verbally.
  • To provide the internal quality assurance officer with information as required, and highlight any issues with portfolio’s

 

Key Requirements:

  • Ideally, you will have previous operational policing experience within the last five years- at the rank of at least Inspector. (This is required to evidence occupational competency for assessing the role of newly promoted Inspectors.)
  • Have a recognised Assessors Qualification and be able to provide evidence of Continued Professional Development for assessing
  • Knowledge and competent use of Information Technology systems is a requisite of the position
