About the role

Here at Babcock International we are recruiting for a Infrastructre (Messaging and Authentication) Team Lead to oversee and manage the day-to-day function of the Messaging and AuthenticationTeam. The team consists of 8 x Analysts across multiple geographic locations,
Your role will include resource planning, fault fixing, request requirements and project coordination across the team. This should be delivered to agreed standards and KPI's with regard to Messaging, Authentication, Security and other technical solutions across the Group.

What do I need to do the role?
You will have experience to a minimum period of 4 years from within a server/infrastructure 3rd line senior or 3rd line team lead capacity, where you will have been responsible for managing and maintaining core technologies such as Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Exchange, Azure and O365. Experience in technologies such as Blackberry MDM, Quest toolsets, Varonis or Cyberark would be advantageous.

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of the following areas; Experience of managing people across diverse skillsets, knowledge of working within an ITIL environment and an understanding of IT management processes

Lastly, you will have a solid track record of technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure application environments, be comfortable working in multi-discipline IT environment and work under pressure.

What else do I need to know?

This role is based in Lakeside, Portsmouth. A vibrant and accessible campus that has shops, restaurants, hairdressers and a nursery on site. It has parking for employees and runs a free shuttle bus from city centre trains and bus stops.
You must hold MOD SC security clearance, and be willing to achieve DV Clearance.
You must also have ability to travel to other sites.
