Our client is looking for Data Officer to join their team for a 3 month contract. This will be a remote based role and will fall inside IR35.
This role is an operational data position and is primarily focused on ensuring that all data received into the Covid process is cleansed, managed, and maintained to ensure the business can deliver against both operational. In addition to this the role of Data Officer will play an integral role in delivering critical information and reports daily to support the Covid process.
Key responsibilities
*Help to manage, maintain, develop and support a range of databases.
*Maintain data integrity, ensuring data is up to date, audited and fit for purpose.
*Build, test and implement new functionality within databases as required.
*Produce daily reports analysing operational outputs to support the delivery of the Covid process.
*Be a point of contact for any data queries that may arise.
Essential skills and experience
*Advanced Excel skills to manipulate, manage and analyse data - VLOOKUP's, HLOOKUP's, IndexMatch, COUNTIF and Macros.
*Experience of using Power query.
*Experienced analysing large datasets, drawing out insight and key trends.
*Excellent standard of oral communication.
*Planning, co-ordination and organisational skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
*Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to use own initiative.
*Understands the context and nature of the Covid challenge and the company's response
*Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and react quickly to emerging challenges
