An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Contracts Advisor to work in the newly established Contracts Team within HR and Shared Services following the recent Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) HR Transformation.

This is a new role so will be continually developing in line with the BCH HR Transformation. The role reports to the Contracts Manager and will manage the triage of contracts for all staff and officers across BCH along with supporting the manager with the interpretation of terms and conditions. In addition, providing expert advice and guidance to HR colleagues to help resolve complex issues in order to provide solutions for customers.

You will be a Level 5 Associate member of the CIPD or have equivalent experience. With an understanding and experience of applying employment legislation to a broad range of HR issues along with a strong understanding and experience of advising on Section 1 Statements and application of terms and conditions. You will have a proven experience of advising customers on a range of HR matters in customer facing environment, ability to work in a complex and varied environment and experience of establishing HR systems and complex processes to improve efficiency.

The role will be based at Hertfordshire Constabulary Police Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City; however, the role is agile so working arrangements will be flexible across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire as well as from home in order to meet organisational requirements.
