Introduction…

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Designer to come a join a government organisation responsible for supporting ministers in leading the nations health & social care.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Senior Business Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing service design leadership and direction, working closely with other government departments for a cohesive approach to service design.
• Prioritizing understanding the needs and behaviours of users and help teams use this insight to underpin and drive the work they do. Assessing performance of services and teams against digital by default standards.
• Using tools such as sketches, scenarios, and diagrams such as maps, blueprints and prototypes and design accessible digital services, and analyse demand and failure within the service.
• Identifying root cases for failure, frame problems, identify desired outcomes and key measure.
• Lead discussions at a senior department level and enable change to support delivery of better services and encourage and mentor individuals, service teams and other part of the organisation.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Must have previous experience working within a Government Organization/ Public Sector.
• Experience of working in agile teams.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of others, leading organisational change.
• Experience of communicating data and research to influence design thinking such as creating diagrams and sketches.

Salary & Package

What is on offer for this exciting role:

• £600 per day
• 6 month contract
