Up to £42,000 per annum plus benefits and 25 days annual leave

As our Integration Engineer you'll liaise with our key business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the customer, participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, which includes scoping, technical design, building, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support for Integration Services we provide to the wider business.

You'll work with the team on initiatives to improve internal processes, service offering and will be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the DevOps team's capability. You'll essentially be the technical expertise to support users for Integration systems, making use of ITSM toolsets and liaising with other service management and technical teams within an ITIL framework. Importantly, you'll also perform routine monitoring and maintenance tasks against Integration solutions as well as evaluating user requests for solutions to determine feasibility and technical requirements.

What you need to do the job

You'll need a h igh-level understanding and experience of Middleware and Integration systems and have extensive software delivery experience and be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, agile software development and DevOps).

You will demonstrate detailed experience of working within Agile and TOGAF aligned processes to a detailed level and be able to maintain and manage architectural designs within these frameworks. To be successful you will need an Industry recognized certification in Software Development, Service Management or Technical product development and good understanding of ITIL/SIAM Service Management standards.

You will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and have demonstratable experience with REST API, JSON and XML data types. Experience in the development of integration using IDOCS, RFC and BAPI experience on the HCM platform as well as technical knowledge of DellBoomi is an advantageous but not essential.

Lastly, you will have strong partner management skills and be able to communicate with a number of stakeholders and various operational teams. Due to the nature of the role, many of the Integration Services operate on a 24/7 basis and you may be required for out of hours work.
