In this role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of technology PSI provides to its customers. 

You will be working closely with the engineering teams to understand what has been developed.  Work closely with the solutions and product teams to ensure the business requirements are being tested. 

This role is critical to the successful delivery of PSI services and the quality of its products.  This role adds significant value to the operation of PSI’s Credentialing business, as this work is crucial for supporting our customers first-hand with a quality service and maintaining our people-focused brand.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and executing end-to-end testing for key technology platforms and be accountable for test projects
  • Experienced in working with various QA tools and frameworks like Selenium, Maven and TestNG
  • Use principles, guidelines and best practices as defined.
  • Monitoring of all the project QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Document testing plans
  • Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders.
  • Closely work with various product teams to understand requirements and other performance SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging and production instances.
  • Reviewing and analysing feature requirements, exit criteria’s and design test scenarios 
  • Participate in manual regression testing 
  • Writing manual and automation test cases using Test-Rail 
  • Reporting defects accurately and managing to successful resolution via Jira 
  • Maintaining and creating product knowledge documentation 
  • Investigate and attempt to diagnose customer support reported defects 
  • Participate in sprint planning, scum and backlog grooming ceremonies

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in progressively responsible information technology.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working in a hybrid onshore / offshore environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
  • Proven experience and full command of QA procedures and methods, and Agile / SDLC
  • Excellent organizational, numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
  • Familiar with automation testing technologies 
  • Experience with version management and ticketing systems such as SVN and Jira.
  • Experience with RDBMS and SQL
  • Experience testing and debugging in multiple browsers/operating systems.
  • Experience with C #, Java, HTML, XML and CSS a huge plus.
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Post-Man, Soup UI 
  • Familiar with ISTQB principles
