Site Manager
£30,000 - £35,000 plus Excellent Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity with one of our defence clients based in Hampshire. As a result of ongoing growth within their project portfolio, they are seeking a Site Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. Specifically, this position will be a liaison between the project management team and the technical onsite engineers. The presence of the Project Engineer will ensure the onsite teams are aware of project plans, technical designs and any project changes. You will also be responsible for handling onsite health and safety and visiting subcontractors.
Main responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for onsite engineers on the project
- Management of onsite health and safety
- Ensuring projects are completed according to project plans and technical designs
- To maintain effective working relationships with on-site operational teams and contractors
- Ensure Field installations meet Site Coordinating Installation Design Authority (SCIDA) installation requirements by following Best Practice guidelines
Experience required:
- Experience working in a field based / onsite position previously in the IT industry
- Basic knowledge of IT, ideally networks (qualifications desirable)
- Understanding of health and safety best practices (qualifications desirable)
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Excellent time management skills
This is a mobile role covering all UK sites, and may also require some work to be carried out internationally.
