Key Working Relationships:
- Direct support to the Head of ICT.
- ICT Senior Management Team and section leads.
- Force Executive Team, Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO), Heads of Departments in Corporate Services and Senior Operational Officers.
- Third-party Supplier / Service Manager liaisons, contract and finance management teams.
The role of the ICT Service Delivery Manager:
- The ICT Service Delivery Manager will lead, direct and manage support of IT services across the organisation. Ensuring they are strategically and operationally aligned with the business, as part of ongoing continual service improvements.
- The post holder will oversee the management and monitoring of external partners and service providers to ensure that all aspects of IT service operations are delivered in line with contract and corporate requirements to achieve high quality and positive outcomes for service users.
- This senior management role will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance and development of internal IT services. As a member of the ICT Senior Management Team the post holder will be expected to innovate, develop and grow existing services by partnering with the Head of ICT, Senior Business Managers and other members of the Executive Team. They will achieve this by developing and implementing the operational and strategic plans for all the IT services within the organisation. This will include service strategy and planning, policies, procedures and quality standards, cross-departmental working and external relations.
- The IT Service Delivery Manager will be required to represent the organisation at a senior level both internally and externally.
- The post holder will require technical, business and financial acumen to ensure that current and future operations continue on a sustainable and viable basis and can evidence positive outcomes and value to the business.
