We’re looking for Lead Analysts with strong Public Sector backgrounds to work with the Border and Protocol Delivery Group within the Cabinet Office.

The Border and Protocol Delivery Group (BPDG) is a small but influential team supporting high profile work of critical importance within the Cabinet Office. It provides exciting opportunities for those wishing to work in a flexible, dynamic, fast paced environment. The group is responsible for coordinating and assuring delivery of the cross-Government border-related changes in light of our departure from the EU and to ensure strong, joined up planning for the border in the medium and long term.

The Border Impact Centre operates via a night shift (22:00 - 8:00).

As Lead Analyst, you will:

  • Escalate any issues at the border to BPDG leadership and Cabinet Office as they happen
  • Hold responsibility for the current view to lead the BIC analysis teams and direct activity
  • Sign off reports which show impact across locations and UK as a whole
  • Validate reports with various government departments as appropriate
  • Prioritise incidents at the border by risk/severity Access the workflow of the entire BIC team

You’ll have:

  • The capability to work as part of a team, at pace in crisis management scenario
  • Collaborate and partner across grades and across government work groups
  • The ability to forge strong working relationships with excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work flexibly and under pressure
  • Public Sector/Central Government experience
  • SC/CTC Clearance (ideally)
