Content Creation Consultant

- Excellent English language skills - written and spoken English to the level of native English speaker; writes written content at a high level and in compliance with NATO style constraints;
- Experience developing creative media content including articles for corporate and project communications campaigns;
- Experience producing social media products for an international organization; 
- Experience in planning, conducting, transcribing and editing interviews;
- Experience liaising with external stakeholders such as NATO organizations, press and media and public affairs officers from across NATO and other organizations;
- Experience collaborating with a multimedia team to help contribute to deliverable products;
- Experience contributing to communication campaigns and cross-media approaches;
- Good knowledge and experience with the use of dedicated creative software (Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Word, Excel, SharePoint)

Desirable:
- Experience working in an international organization;
- Magazine editing experience; 
- Familiarity with NATO and NCI Agency media teams and their processes;
- Minimum experience as content creator, copywriter or editor of two years;

ROLES & DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Head, Creative Media Conference Services and/or other CMCS section lead (creative media, or photo/video) but largely on own initiative, the incumbent will perform duties mainly within The Hague area of responsibility which include:
- Develop, coordinate and share Agency content for creative media productions delivered via print, electronic, social media, etc.
-  Liaise with functional experts to create print and social media products on scientific, technical, social and educational subjects;
- Suggest and create media content such as social media posts and magazine articles for the Agency's platforms  on topics identified in the Agency's strategic communications plan; 
- Conduct interviews during exercises and in operational environments to highlight the NCI Agency's work in official NCI Agency documents, brochures, video productions, presentations and websites, and for external stakeholders, media and press;
- Write and edit content for corporate media products (brochures, leaflets, reports);
- Support and advise Agency staff on writing clearly and developing content on the Agency;
- Continually work to improve customer service perception and satisfaction;
